UNDER section 500, chapter 48, '35 C. S. A., providing that in certain situations in criminal cases a writ of error shall lie on behalf of the people, the latter here seek a review of the decision of the trial court quashing an information filed therein against the defendant in error, to whom we shall hereinafter refer as the defendant. The information purported to charge bribery and an attempt to bribe a member of the Thirty-First General Assembly through the medium of intoxicating liquor allegedly furnished him by the defendant.
