The question in regard to printer’s fees arose in respect to the expenditure for printing the testimony taken before- the master.

NELSON, Circuit Justice.
The questions raised on this application are to be determined by a reference to the act of congress passed February 26, 1853 (10 Stat. 161).
The 1st section of that act provides, “that, *237in lieu of the compensation now allowed by law to attorneys, solicitors, and proctors,” &e., “the following, and no other compensation, shall be taxed and allowed.” The same language is used in respect to the compensation of. the clerks, marshals, witnesses, commissioners, and printers.
