—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Lipp, J.), rendered April 27, 1992, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contention, a Wade hearing was not required to determine the admissibility of evidence of the pretrial identification procedure since it was merely confirmatory (see, People v Gissendanner, 48 NY2d 543).
