Both parties seek further review from a court of appeals decision affirming in part and reversing in part the district court’s judgment. Midland Mutual Life Insurance Company seeks further review of the decision of the court of appeals to reduce the jury’s award of damages. In its application for further review, Mercy Clinics, Inc. seeks further reductions in the amount of damages it owes to Midland, contending the jury’s verdict is not supported by substantial evidence.
