The petitioners, who are rakers, tampers, smoothers, top-shovelers and asphalt workers employed by the city, have appealed from an order of the Appellate Division, affirming as modified certain determinations of the Comptroller of the City, of New York. The -determinations involved here were entered March 9, 1945, and covered the period from October 1, 1937, to February 19, 1942.
