Dwayne Throneberry (“Throneberry”) appeals from the trial court’s entry of summary- judgment in favor of the Missouri State Highway Patrol (“MSHP”) and Trooper Dustin Lyle (“Trooper Lyle”) (collectively “the Defendants”). Throneberry argues that the trial court erred because, as a matter of law, Trooper Lyle’s actions during a police pursuit were the proximate cause of a collision that killed Throneber-ry’s sister.
