This is a suit for the custody of a child, instituted by appellant, the father of the child, against appellees. A trial was had without a jury, and the custody of the child was given to appellees, the right to visit her being accorded appellant.
Elise Peese, the child in controversy, is the daughter of appellant, and is about eight years of age. Her mother died in a few minutes after her birth, and the child was placed in the hands of her aunt, Antonia Gellerman, and her husband, August Gellerman.
