Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Clabby, J.), rendered April 16, 1984 convicting him of robbery in the second degree, after a nonjury trial, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant contends that he was deprived of a fair trial by reason of the bias of the trial court as evidenced by remarks made by the court concerning the defendant’s failure to appear after the close of the People’s case.
