Case Summary

Gary (Van) Jackson appeals his convietion for Carrying a Handgun Without a License as a Class A misdemeanor, which was enhanced to a Class C felony because of a prior felony conviction. Specifically, Jackson argues that the trial court erred in not suppressing the handgun found during a police search of his vehicle because the initial traffic stop of his vehicle was unjustified.
