The trial court dismissed the suit filed by Plaintiffs-Appellants Roger and Eunice Williams and their children, Plaintiffs-Appellants Patrick and Bradley Williams, on the grounds that the dismissals of their four prior lawsuits involving the same parties had a preclusive effect on the present suit. Plaintiffs claim the trial court erred in granting the motion to dismiss under the doctrine of res judicata because each of the four prior cases was decided on procedural grounds, without reaching the merits of their claims, and res judicata does not apply where there has…
