— This appeal by the defendant life insurance company is from an order of the Jackson County circuit court sustaining the plaintiff-respondents’ motion for new trial in a suit for $33,922.68 compensatory damages and $10,000 exemplary damages for wrongful conversion of personal property. Under a mandatory instruction for respondents, eleven of the jury returned a verdict for one cent compensatory damages at the December term, 1939.
