Defendant Michael Lee was charged with attempted first degree murder (Class X), armed violence (Class X), unlawful use of weapons (Class 3) and mob action (Class 4). He was tried by the court and found guilty of attempted first degree murder, armed violence and unlawful use of weapons. The court sentenced defendant to serve concurrent terms of 18 years for the two Class X felonies and a concurrent term of five years for unlawful use of weapons. Defendant’s post-trial motion was denied, and he appeals from his convictions and his sentence.
