After a jury trial, the Madison Circuit Court entered a judgment awarding $85,000 in damages to Letitia Wyatt McAllister in her action against Lawrence H. Bundrick, Jr., M.D., under the Alabama Medical Liability Act, § 6-5-480 et seq., Ala. Code 1975. McAllister subsequently filed a motion for an award of costs pursuant to Rule 54(d), Ala. R. Civ. P., in the amount of $45,064.88.
