The subject of this litigation involves the payment of future medical care and related benefits by the Louisiana Patient’s Compensation Fund, pursuant to La. R.S. 40:1299.43. The trial court granted judgment in favor of plaintiff, Charles R. Aex-ander, Individually, and in his capacity as Administrator of the Estate of his minor child, Timothy Aexander, awarding $28,050.00 for medical expenses and $13,016.25 for attorney’s fees.
