MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

YOUNG, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

At a waypoint in this long and circuitous litigation, this motion for attorneys’ fees comes before this Court.

The plaintiffs, franchisees of Coverall North America, Inc. (“Coverall”), brought suit against Coverall under the Massachusetts Independent Contractor Statute, Mass. Gen. L. ch. 149, § 148B, alleging that Coverall improperly classified them as independent contractors.
