MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

HAIGHT, Senior District Judge.

Plaintiff Evgueniy Fedotov brings this purported class action against defendant Peter T. Roach and Associates (“Roach”), a law firm, for alleged violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA” or “Act”), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et seq., Pursuant to Rule 56 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, defendant moves for summary judgment, claiming that plaintiff does not have standing to pursue this lawsuit, and, pursuant to Rule 23(a)(4), for an order denying class certification on the ground that plaintiff is not a proper class…
