The plaintiffs were bona fide purchasers for value of a lot in the city of Bridgeport, on which there was at the time a barn erected by Hanford N. Hayes, when he was the owner of the lot. Hayes erected the barn at the request of the defendant, under a parol agreement with him that he should occupy it at a stipulated rent so long as Hayes should own the lot, and that when he should sell it the defendant should have the barn and pay therefor the sum of two hundred dollars.
