The defendant appeals1 from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A),2 sexual assault in a spousal relationship in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70b,3 and attempt to commit sexual assault in a spousal relationship in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-49 (a)4 and 53a-70b. The defendant was found not guilty of a separate count that charged him with robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (3).
