This appeal concerns a jury’s condemnation awards in favor of landowner appellee, Hixon Family Partnership, Ltd. (the Partnership), in connection with the partial taking of two parcels of real property by the condemnor, appellant Collin County, Texas (the County). In two issues, the County asserts the trial court erred in overruling the County’s plea to the jurisdiction and admitting the testimony of the Partnership’s appraisal expert.
