I am unable to agree with the opinion prepared in this case by Justice Moore. Plaintiff’s case made on the record is this: Under a standard bill, of lading it shipped by defendant’s steamer Alabama several consignments of tires. The Alabama, when near Chicago, suffered an accident; the tires were not destroyed but were damaged so as to be unsuitable for delivery; they had to be reconditioned, rewrapped and repacked.
