This suit was originally filed in- the district court of Camp county, Tex., by John Wesley Lewis, defendant in error, against St. Louis Southwestern Bailway Company of Texas, the plaintiff in error, on account of personal injuries received by said Lewis as the result of a collision between an automobile in which he was riding and one of the railway company’s passenger trains. Trial in the district court resulted in a verdict and judgment for Lewis for the sum of $8,500.
