The defendant was tried for and convicted of the crime of larceny by stealing a steer, the property of one E. H. Powers. From the judgment which followed he appeals on the ground that the court erred in overruling his motion to direct a verdict of acquittal, in the admission of testimony, and the giving and refusing of certain instructions to the jury.
