The plaintiff brought this action to restrain the city of New Haven and its collector from claiming or filing liens against its property, on account of an assessment for benefits in connection with a public improvement undertaken to provide a more convenient approach to the railroad station. The plaintiff also asks for a decree determining that the assessment against its property was null and void, and removing all clouds upon its title as a result thereof, and quieting the same.
