Appeal, No. 179, Jan. T., 1914, by defendant, from judgment of C. P. Schuylkill Co., Nov. T., 1912, No. 178, on verdict for plaintiff, in case of George W. Case v. the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company. Trespass to recover damages for personal injuries. Before Koch, J. The opinion of the Supreme Court states the facts. Verdict for plaintiff for $6,195 and judgment thereon. Defendant appealed. Errors assigned were answers to points and instructions to the jury.

George W. Case, an employee of the defendant company, recovered a verdict for personal injuries; judgment was entered thereon, and the defendant has appealed. V
Case was engaged at work with a number of other men, when a chain furnished by the defendant gave way under a load of between three and four tons, and as a consequence the plaintiff’s right hand was crushed, causing him to lose two fingers.
