Spencer R. Evans appeals from a final judgment entered in the District Court1 for the District of Minnesota dismissing his hybrid2 § 301 claims against Northwest Airlines, Inc., and Northwest Airlines Benefit Plans (Northwest) and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (Union) pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(1), because the Railroad Labor Act, 45 U.S.C.A. § 153 (West 1986) (RLA), preempts his claims.
