CHASE, Circuit Judge.

This appeal is by the United States from that part of the final judgment of the district court which included certain awards of interest as part of the just compensation for property in Brooklyn, N. Y., taken by the government for public use as part of the Brooklyn Navy Yard, pursuant to the provisions of The Declaration of Taking Act, 40 U.S.C.A. § 258a-f. The property was commonly known as the “Wallabout Market” and consisted of fifty-three and one quarter acres of land owned in fee by The City of New York on which numerous improvements had been made.
