Pocomoke City is an incorporated town located on the main highway which runs north from Cape Charles, Virginia, to Maryland, and there.becomes a part of the Mary land state road system. It is a busy thriving country town of some twenty-live hundred or three thousand inhabitants, located in Worcester County near the southern boundary of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and is the center of much of the commercial and business life of that part of this state, as wrell as of that part of the Eastern Shore of Virginia lying immediately south of it.
