INTRODUCTION

Spanish Lake Associates, a Michigan partnership (hereinafter the “Debtor”) filed a Chapter 11 petition on January 15, 1988. On July 21, 1988, the Debtor filed a Disclosure Statement and a proposed Plan of Reorganization. On September 29, 1988, by leave of Court, the Debtor filed its First Amended Disclosure Statement (hereinafter the “Disclosure Statement”) and its First Amended Plan of Reorganization (hereinafter the “Plan”).
