Shirley J. Mathis appeals the trial court’s order awarding attorney’s fees to United Investors Life Insurance Co. After United Investors interpleaded life insurance proceeds that were subject to the conflicting claims of Mathis and Schulund-ria and Khoshunda Williams, the trial court awarded the interpleaded funds to the Williams. The trial court also awarded attorney’s fees to United Investors to be paid from the interpleaded funds, and then assessed the amount of the attorney’s fees paid to United Investors to be recovered from Mathis by the Williams as…
