Tlie plaintiff leased a plantation from the defendant, and alleges that lie was forcibly ejected from the same, and brought this suit to recover the sum of §5512 50, which lie alleges is due him under *760the agreement entered into by him with defendant, and contained in the contract of lease.

The defendant denies the allegation of plaintiff’s petition, alleges violation of the contract of the lease by plaintiff, in consequence of which he has suffered damages to the amount of $5000, which he pleads in reconventi'on. He claims for advances made…
