State Ex Rel. Wammack & Welborn v. Affolder

Ralph Wammack and A. T. Welborn, attorneys, under the firm name of Wammack & Welborn brought this cause in mandamus to compel the township treasurer of Duck Creek township in Stoddard county to honor an order upon him given, by the county court wherein he was directed to pay to said Wammack and Welborn $160 out of any funds in his hands derived from the sale of certain road bonds. The alternative writ was issued, but on healing the writ was quashed, and relators’ cause of action dismissed and they appealed.
