Defendant Board of Trustees Midwest Operating Engineers Welfare Plan (“the Trustees”) administers the Midwest Operating Engineers Welfare Fund (“the Fund”). The Fund was established, pursuant to collective bargaining agreements (“CBAs”), as a joint labor-management trust fund which provides welfare benefits to employees under several CBAs.
