| ¡.The defendant, Josie Y. Morgan, was charged by grand jury indictment with second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty. (R. 1). Following a trial by jury, the defendant was found guilty as charged. (R. 13,1063). The trial court denied the defendant’s motion for postverdict judgment of acquittal and motion for new trial.
