INTRODUCTION

{¶ 1} Nicholas Ward and Howard Stabile persuaded William and Sheryl Wilson to invest $120,000 to produce and market a document holder that Ward had created to ease getting through airport security. According to the Wilsons, Ward and Stabile lied to them about the number of other investors, the number of orders that had been placed, and how their money would be used.
