VAN ORSDEE, Associate Justice.

This appeal is from a judgment of the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, granting a writ of mandamus directing respondent, the Secretary of the Interior, to take jurisdiction of the claim of relator, appellee company, for interest paid on money borrowed to enable relator company to comply with requests and demands made upon it by the Department of the Interior, under the Act of Congress of October 5, 1918. 40 Stat. 1009 (Comp. St. Ann. Supp. 1919, §'§ 3115%s-3115%uu).
