WALKER, Judge.

The plaintiff, a resident of Cumberland County, North Carolina, filed an equitable distribution claim against defendant Michael Bates, a citizen of Virginia, and claims against defendant Debbie Jarrett, a citizen of this State. Included was a claim to set aside the conveyance of a 1992 Subaru Loyale by defendant Bates to defendant Debbie Jarrett and to recover the insurance proceeds received by Jarrett after the Subaru was wrecked.
