Defendant John Jordan was convicted on one count of murder, (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 9 — 1) and two counts of armed robbery, (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 18 — 2) following a jury trial. He was sentenced to three terms of 15 to 30 years’ imprisonment, the terms to be served concurrently. On appeal defendant argues that his convictions must be reversed because his arrest was without probable cause and evidence derived therefrom was erroneously admitted and he did not receive effective assistance of counsel.
