Judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County (Kenneth Shorter, J.), rendered on March 24, 1987, convicting defendant, following a jury trial, of robbery in the second degree and sentencing him to an indeterminate term of imprisonment of from 1V¿ to 4V£ years, is unanimously affirmed.
Defendant challenges, in part, the court’s charge to the jury regarding defendant’s failure to testify. In that connection, the court instructed the jury as follows:
