Both of these cases arise from the same divorce action. Case No. 3895 is an appeal from the property settlement portion of the decree. Case No. 3921 is an appeal from the child support and maintenance provisions of the amended decree.

Plaintiff-husband and defendant-wife were married to each other on February 20, 1947. Six children were born as issue of the marriage, their ages at the time of filing of the complaint being 21, 18, 16, 12, 10 and 4. On August 22, 1969, the husband filed in the district court his complaint demanding that a decree of divorce he granted him dissolving his marriage…
