On the 26th of October, 1913, the appellant, plaintiff in the court below, filed suit against the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fé Ry. Co., alleging that on or about the 30th day of August, 1912, there were shipped from Palestine, Tex., a lot of household goods and furniture, consigned to shipper’s order, with instructions to notify plaintiff, who was the owner of said goods, and that said goods arrived in Beaumont over the lines of the defendant corporation, and remained at its warehouse in Beaumont up to the 21st day of December, 1912, when they were by the defendant company unlawfully converted…
