Lin this writ application, the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System on behalf of its member institution, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (collectively the “Board” or “defendants”), seeks review of the trial court’s judgment denying its peremptory exception raising the objection of no cause of action as to the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) wage and retaliation claims asserted by plaintiff, Mark Palandro. For the reasons that follow, we deny the writ application.
