This case is within the federal jurisdiction because it is an action between a citizen of Louisiana and a citizen of a foreign state, U.S.Const. Art. Ill, Section 2; 28 U.S.C.A. Section 1332(a)(2).

Plaintiff, the Morris N. Palmer Ranch Company of Alberta, Canada, brings suit against Ross J. Campesi of Louisiana for the unpaid portion of the purchase price of a herd of 476 registered Maine-Anjou cattle; for the balance due on another smaller sale of cattle; for the price of Maine-Anjou semen sold for use in breeding the animals; for costs incidental to the sales;…
