WADE, Justice.

Frank J. Allen, appellant herein, commenced an action to recover the value of a traveling bag and contents which he *173had checked with respondent herein at its parcel room in the Union Station at Portland, Oregon, and which it failed to return to him. From a judgment awarding him $25 and costs he appeals. The appeal is here on the judgment roll.
