I. FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

On August 10, 1995, 53-year-old Patricia H. Lorea-Merono (Claimant) suffered an industrial accident while employed as a bakery clerk and product demonstrator by Yoke’s Pac ‘N Save (Employer) in Sandpoint, Idaho. She experienced pain and a popping sensation in her right shoulder while lifting a full liner out of a garbage can. She reported the incident to her supervisor, and the following day she sought medical care at the emergency room of the Bonner County Community Hospital.
