Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Friedlander, J.), rendered May 21, 1981, convicting him of burglary in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of defendant’s motion to suppress statements. Judgment affirmed. On April 16, 1980, Officer William Sutton was on patrol in a “sector” car when he received a radio call informing him that a residential alarm had gone off at 40 Bellhaven Road.
