APPEAL FROM THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR THE DISTRICT OF KANSAS. Appellant, which we shall call complainant, it being such in the court below, is a Delaware corporation and the defendants are officers of the State of Kansas. The bill attacks the validity of a law of Kansas censoring moving picture films and prays an injunction against its enforcement. The relief was denied and the bill dismissed. Necessarily the first factor to be considered is the law of the State. It is entitled “ An Act regulating the exhibiting or using of moving picture films or reels; providilig and regulating the examination and approval of moving picture films and reels, and fixing penalties for the violation of this act, and making an appropriation for clerical help to carry this act. into effect.”
