WALSH, Justice.
In this appeal from the Superior Court we address the scope of the Court’s authority to set aside a sheriffs sale. Appellants-Inter-venors, Daniel J. Burge and Clifford Henry (“Intervenors”) appeal from an order setting aside a sheriffs sale at which they successfully bid for real property. Intervenors claim that the Superior Court exceeded its authority in voiding the sale on the basis of an unilateral mistake arising from an erroneous bid by an agent of the mortgagee.
