On the 10th day of May, 1926, Joseph Grayson was convicted in the Circuit Court of Stafford county upon the. first count of an indictment charging the “unlawful possession of mash, capable of being used in the manufacture of ardent spirits,” and sentenced to pay a fine of $50.00 and to confinement in jail for one month. The case was tried by the court without the intervention of a jury and the judgment comp ained of rendered upon the following agreed statement of facts: “It is agreed that Federal prohibition agents found under the front porch of the residence of the accused, in Stafford…
