Ford Motor Company appeals from a judgment awarding Larry and Glenda Mayes compensatory damages of $5,135.38, punitive damages of $25,000, and attorneys fees of $5,000. The judgment was based upon a jury verdict finding that Ford’s con duct relating to the warranty constituted an unfair trade practice in violation of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act of 1972 (KRS 367.110 to 367.300).
