This is a suit by Conley to recover damages arising from personal injuries sustained while in appellant’s employ.

Upon the occasion of the accident, defendant company was stringing wire upon its poles in the city of Houston, the wires being drawn over the crossarms along a series of poles, from and off of a reel. This reel or spool was situate upon the ground and fixed at point designated by one Browan, defendant’s foreman, in charge of the work atod gang of men.
